TALKS, WORKSHOPS & GROUP SESSIONS

I offer talks, workshops, clinics, and group sessions for organizations, teams, schools, clubs, and community groups looking for content that is human, useful, and grounded in real experience.

Some sessions are designed to inspire.
Some are designed to teach.
Some are designed to help people reflect, discuss, and take action.

Often, the strongest sessions do a bit of all three.

Custom sessions for your audience

I do not believe every group needs the same talk.

A corporate team, a school group, a trail running club, a women’s health event, and a community organization may all need different language, examples, and takeaways.

That is why my talks and workshops are built around the audience, the context, and the outcome you are looking for.

The format can be simple and flexible: a short talk, a longer keynote, a practical workshop, a trail running clinic, a lunch & learn, a film screening and discussion, or a custom group session.

SESSION THEMES

Topics I can speak or teach on

IMG_6456.jpeg

Women’s health, strength, and midlife fitness

Educational and practical sessions on perimenopause, menopause, strength training, lifestyle habits, energy, recovery, and long-term vitality.

This topic is especially relevant for workplaces that want to better support women 40+ — a highly experienced and valuable part of the workforce.

When women understand what is changing in their bodies and what they can do to support energy, sleep, strength, recovery, and health, they are better equipped to keep showing up with clarity, confidence, and capacity.

These sessions can be designed for women employees directly, for management teams who want to better understand the topic, or for organizations looking to create a healthier and more informed workplace culture.

Example session: Supporting Women 40+ at Work

A practical lunch & learn for workplaces that want to better understand perimenopause, menopause, health, energy, recovery, and performance — and support experienced women in staying strong, capable, and engaged.

Trail running and ultra-endurance

Talks, clinics, and workshops for trail runners, ultra athletes, clubs, races, and sport organizations.

Topics can include training structure, race preparation, durability, recovery, terrain skills, mindset, pacing, race execution, and the realities of going long.

Performance, resilience, and sustainable growth

Sessions for teams and groups who want to better understand how people build capacity, adapt under pressure, recover, and continue moving toward meaningful goals.

This can apply to sport, work, leadership, school, entrepreneurship, or personal growth.

The focus is not on pushing harder at all costs. It is on building the awareness, structure, and resilience needed to keep going in a sustainable way.

Facing Infinitus and endurance storytelling

Story-based sessions or film screenings connected to Facing Infinitus, the documentary film I produced about the Infinitus 888 km race.

These sessions explore the human side of ultra-endurance: fear, commitment, purpose, discomfort, decision-making, and what draws people toward challenges that seem almost impossible from the outside.

Who this is for

Speaking and workshop sessions can be adapted for:

Companies and corporate teams

HR teams and wellness committees

Schools and educational institutions

Trail running clubs and sport organizations

Women’s groups and community organizations

Conferences, retreats, and special events

Clinics, health spaces, and fitness communities

The session can be educational, reflective, practical, inspirational, or a combination depending on your audience and goals.

MY STYLE

My style is direct, human, practical, and grounded in real experience.

I use stories, coaching questions, education, and clear takeaways so people do not only feel inspired in the moment — they leave with something to think about, discuss, or apply.

I am not interested in delivering generic motivation.

I care about creating sessions that are relevant to the people in the room.

I bring together more than 15 years of coaching experience, a background in trail and ultra running, functional fitness, professional coaching, women’s health education, and endurance sport.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

I have spoken for schools, companies, trail running communities, outdoor and adventure expos, women’s groups, and community gatherings.

My background includes:

  • ACC Certified Professional Coach

  • trail and ultra running coach

  • CrossFit Level 2 Trainer

  • massage therapist background

  • Menopause 2.0 course by Stacy T. Sims

  • endurance athlete with 50+ podiums

  • producer of the documentary film Facing Infinitus

I can speak from lived experience, but I also bring a coach’s eye: what matters, what the audience needs, and how to make the message useful.

You can also explore selected interviews, articles, and features on the Media Coverage page.

Testimonials

Raymond Lafrance
High school teacher

My lasting impression of your talk, which was aimed at high school students, is how deeply they were impacted by the extreme events you participate in. The fact that you graduated from the same school as them left a strong impression and even motivated them. Some students mentioned it again in class afterward. Your genuine and unpretentious approach encouraged both students and staff to listen and engage. From my perspective, I've long known about your incredible potential and determination. It was truly amazing to see everything you’ve accomplished!

Hélène is undoubtedly the greatest female ultramarathon runner in Québec, and her talk on the Infinitus race deeply inspired me.

“Why not?” stayed with me since is her response to people who thought she was a bit crazy for running 888 km in 10 consecutive days. A true warrior, so inspiring!

Lyes Bilal Khelladi
Research coordinator, trail runner

The conference “Developing Mental Strength” helped me see the path toward achieving goals from a different perspective. It made me more aware of the long road to success, the possibility of failure along the way, and the importance of trusting my preparation and abilities at the start line — however modest they may feel — without feeling like an impostor.

A key takeaway was hearing both your experience and the audience’s experiences around concepts I had read about in books, blog articles, or heard discussed in podcasts. It brought rich and valuable perspectives.
