Fit & Healthy Menopause

Health and fitness coaching for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and midlife changes.

FEELING THE SHIFT?

Your body may not respond the way it used to.

Your energy, sleep, recovery, strength, mood, confidence, or body composition may feel different — even if you are doing many of the same things you used to do.

This is not a reason to give up.
It is a reason to adjust.

Fit & Healthy Menopause helps women 40+ build strength, understand their changing physiology, and create realistic health and fitness habits that support them now and for the long term.

Whether you are starting to exercise or already training regularly, the goal is to build an approach that fits your body, goals, and life now.

Book an exploration call to clarify where you are, what you need, and what kind of support makes sense.

FIT & HEALTHY MENOPAUSE

When your body starts asking for a different approach

Many women reach midlife and start noticing changes that feel confusing or frustrating.

You may think:

“I’m doing the same things, but my body is responding differently.”

“I want to stay strong, but I don’t know what to prioritize.”

“I know I should do strength training, but I don’t know where to start.”

“I’m active, but what used to work does not seem to work the same way anymore.”

“I want clear guidance without extremes, fear, or quick fixes.”

Perimenopause and menopause can affect how you recover, build muscle, manage energy, sleep, regulate stress, and respond to training.

That does not mean you are broken.
It means your strategy may need to evolve.

This is not about chasing your old body

pexels-mikhail-nilov-7500425.jpg

Fit & Healthy Menopause is not about fighting aging, shrinking yourself, or trying to get back to who you were ten years ago.

It is about building the body, habits, strength, knowledge, and confidence that support the woman you are now — and the woman you are becoming.

The goal is not perfection.
The goal is capability.

To feel stronger.

To understand your body better.
To train in a way that makes sense.
To support your energy, recovery, muscle, bones, and long-term health.
To build a lifestyle you can actually sustain.

What we can work on

This work can include coaching, education, training guidance, and practical lifestyle strategies.

Depending on your needs, we may work on:

  • strength training and resistance training

  • getting started with exercise in a safe and realistic way

  • adjusting your current training to better support your physiology

  • nutrition basics, protein, and fueling around exercise

  • sleep, recovery, and stress management

  • muscle and bone health

  • mobility and functional fitness

  • energy, consistency, and motivation

  • body composition changes without making weight loss the whole story

  • building confidence in the gym or at home

  • creating a simple structure that fits your life

Others come in knowing they need to start exercising, but feel unsure, intimidated, or out of practice.

Some women come in already active and need to adjust how they train.

Both are welcome.

The work starts where you are.

Resistance training is one of the most powerful tools women can use in midlife and beyond.

Strength training that feels accessible, relevant, and yours

But for many women, it has not always felt accessible.

Maybe the gym feels intimidating.Maybe strength training was never explained in a way that made sense.

Maybe you were handed generic workouts that did not consider your body, your life, your symptoms, your recovery, or your goals.

This work is about making strength training clear, useful, and realistic.

Not as punishment.
Not as something you have to perform.
Not as a program built around someone else’s body or priorities.

As a practical foundation for muscle, bone health, metabolism, autonomy, confidence, and long-term vitality.

How this work supports you

The goal is to help you understand what matters and put it into practice.

Not everything needs to change at once.

We look at the main levers:

TRAINING
What kind of movement, strength training, intensity, and recovery make sense for where you are now?

NUTRITION
Are you eating in a way that supports energy, muscle, recovery, and training — especially around protein and fueling?

RECOVERY
How are sleep, stress, life load, and recovery affecting your body’s ability to adapt?

STRUCTURE
What simple habits, routines, and decisions would make this easier to sustain?

CONFIDENCE
What do you need to understand, practice, or experience so you feel more capable in your body again or newly?

HOW TO BEGIN

Ways to Work Together

linkedin-sales-solutions-VKJt1EZHlWs-unsplash.jpg

Exploration Call

The first step is an exploration call.

This is a conversation to understand where you are, what you are noticing, what you want support with, and what kind of format makes sense.

You do not need to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

The exploration call helps clarify whether the best fit is coaching, education, a training plan, personal training, or a combination.

pexels-rdne-7348514.jpg

One-Off Coaching Session

A single session can be useful when you want support around a specific question or decision.

For example, you may want to clarify how to adjust your training, where to start with strength training, what to prioritize first, how to approach nutrition, protein, recovery, or consistency, or how to rebuild structure when your energy or schedule has changed.

This is best when you need focused guidance but do not necessarily need a longer coaching package.

pexels-yankrukov-8837201.jpg

Coaching Packages

For deeper support, coaching packages can include a mix of coaching, education, training guidance, and practical planning.

They can help you build a strength training routine, adjust how you train during perimenopause or menopause, create a realistic health and fitness structure, improve consistency, understand your physiology, and support recovery, sleep, energy, and long-term health.

The right format depends on your goals, timeline, budget, and the level of support you want. We can clarify the best option during the exploration call.

Training Plans

If you need more structure, a personalized training plan may be part of the support.

This can help you know what to do, how often, how hard, and how to progress without guessing.

The plan can be adapted to your current fitness level, equipment, schedule, symptoms, recovery, and goals.

In-Person Personal Training

When location allows, in-person personal training may be available as à la carte sessions or packages.

This can be helpful if you want direct support with strength training, technique, confidence, gym navigation, or learning how to move safely and effectively.

Availability depends on location, schedule, and fit.

MY APPROACH

My approach is science-based, practical, and realistic.

I use current knowledge in women’s health, fitness, training, and behavior change to help you understand what is happening and what you can do about it.

This is not medical care, hormone therapy, nutrition therapy, or treatment for symptoms. It is health and fitness coaching, education, and training guidance to help you build a stronger foundation around your real body and real life.

I meet you where you are.

You may be starting from zero.
You may be returning after years away from training.
You may already be active but realizing that your old approach no longer works.
You may be strong and capable, but tired of guessing.

We start from there and build forward.

I’m a coach, trainer, and endurance athlete with over 15 years of experience helping people build strength, resilience, confidence, and sustainable performance.

MEET YOUR COACH

I am a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, certified running coach, ACC Certified Professional Coach, and longtime endurance athlete.

I have also completed Dr. Stacy T. Sims Menopause 2.0 course and continue to deepen my knowledge through the work of leading experts in women’s health and female physiology, including Dr. Stacy Sims and Dr. Lisa Mosconi.

My goal is to make this information clear, practical, and usable.

Not overwhelming.
Not fear-based.
Not reduced to quick fixes.

You deserve to understand your body and have tools that actually fit your life.

Testimonials

Amber M.

I appreciate Hélène’s approach on women's health and fitness. As someone who needs things put in a simple yet effective manner, Hélène nails it.

Women's health at the surface can seem messy and daunting—but working with Hélène—she has a way of making it interesting & fun while getting the job done simultaneously.

I would recommend Hélène to nearly any woman! Especially if you don’t like things done in a boring, clinical manner.

Ginette C.

As a senior, I started an exercise program with Hélène. What a great decision!

I had neck pain, limited arm movement, and my legs didn't bend as well anymore. My abs lacked firmness, etc. Hélène prepared a program that restored energy and flexibility to my muscles.

It was impactful to take the time to establish my goals and understand the effects of hormonal changes and what is within our power to change.

Since then, I feel flexible, alert, capable of traveling, and doing the activities I enjoy. I am full of liveliness! And... I keep exercising!

Line P.

I would recommend this kind of support to any woman, whether she is new to running or an experienced athlete.

It is reassuring and very valuable to work with a coach who considers the differences we often live through silently, as our bodies change — sometimes quickly.

In 2025, I felt a little lost, wondering if I still had a place in this endurance sport that no longer seemed to fit the woman I was becoming.

Now, it is completely different. I know I have my place, and that I can still take on big challenges. Hélène gave me hope again and helped me believe in abilities I thought I had lost.

Not sure what kind of support you need?

That is okay.

Some women need education.
Some need a training plan.
Some need coaching.
Some need accountability.
Some need to start moving.
Some need to stop doing more and start doing what fits better.

The exploration call is there to clarify that.

We can look at where you are, what you are dealing with, what you want to build, and what kind of support would make the most sense.
